A char with the wrong amount and/or the wrong kind of feats on a specific level and/or class is invalid and cant be used

Actually, same with skills/skillpoints

There was also a bug in the backleveling:
If you multiclass say 4 fighter and than take 1 level rogue and you die and you loose this last level, the program didnt delete the rogue level altogether, instead it showed in the char sheet 4 fighter 0 rogue. At next login you got the messge "invalid char" and that was another dead char.

Not sure if this is already fixed.

Since this seems to be a growing topic, I think it may be proper for a Dysotopia Afterlife!

Thats right, when you die, no matter how you die, at level 15 and up you are sent on to "judgement." The judge checks your alignment, class and then makes a charisma roll to see if he is amused by the mortal before him.

If the alignment and class make sense (paladins have best chance) and the charisma roll gives a decent impression on the judge, that character is sent to a maze. At the end of this maze, which is similar to the Lost Woods, lies a portal to Dysotopia.

If the character is of evil alignment or the class/alignment don't make even the slightest hint of sense, they are sent to the Dysotopia afterlife where they are doomed forever. If they do eventually prove that they have realized what they did wrong they may be allowed to contact a Dungeon Master or Moderator of Dysotopia (since NPC's with a script can be a bit inefficient with level 20's) to try and prove that they have redeemed themselves. Failure means they remain in the afterlife.

Note: I can and will give all minor details such as Alignment bonuses or penalties, class and multi-class bonuses/penalties and ideal charisma effects if this idea is ever considered beyond thus point.

Example of all stated: Bob Joe is a level 16 dwarven fighter/wizard that is Lawful Nuetral. He dies during a Dungeon Master's quest that involves a Balor Lord and is sent to the Judge. The Judge, being an NPC, is swift in his rolls at the waiting gates and it turns out that Bob Joe gets a low roll on Charisma and the Judge is rather displeased with Bob Joe's actions in-life, but the Lawful Nuetral alignment makes him "think" and gives a +2 "circumstance" because Bob and the Judge are the same alignment. Being a Fighter/Wizard does nothing as they are both commonly associated multi-classes. Bob Joe turns up with a -1, and is sent to the afterlife. After awhile wandering the afterlife Bob Joe feels that he has a good chance of returning to Dysotopia's grounds, and contacts a Dungeon Master. The Dungeon Master agrees that Bob Joe could return to Dysotopia and is then sent to Eleriina.

...or start turning Power Gamers into Tidy Badgers until they learn their lesson.

Well, i like that, Grusk, there is just one little problem: The roll, why is there a charisma roll? I do NOT get that, if the character has an unlucky roll, and rolls a 1, he's ******, and that wouldn't be fair. ANd on the other hand, if mr. Powergamer, with a totally nonsense character rolls a 20, he does get to be revived, which would be unfair too. So drop the roll, the rest would be fun, though.

well, in rp charisma measures most often, physical beauty... and if your really rping it and not power gaming. a sexy female elven fighter would have 15-16 charisma... as odd as they might sound thats the truth...

power gamers usually max out the main stats and then procede to not think (lol, think) about puting points into intelligence or charisma leaving them with a strong retarded ugly fighter (ugly is not so bad, just use a helmet, pots preferable) so anyways, my 2 gp on that amount...

Yes, but that does penalize everyone who would actually want to play an ugly/non-charismatic guy, so i say DROP IT, besides, it would be way too random in that way.
Also, Charisma is NOT physical beauty, it is the overall appearance and CHARISMA( I don't know another word for it in english), and the looks don't matter that much, but just a little. Also, it would probably kill mr. Red Hashmeer who has a meager 6 charisma(WTF?)

If you wanna make a uber char then you'll have distinct disadvantages when Dyso gains some complexity.

And Quite right Glorin.
