Not exactally...moderators will be going away in that light and a new system will be put in place in the form of a lawkeeping guild. (Players can now belong to more than one guild) These characters will be expected to uphold the laws of Dysotopia and will be under strict watch from developers who will be in game much more often testing along side the players. These lawkeepers will have the ability to warn offenders or to jail them. Once jailed, characters will have a chance for a public trial with a judge. Each side will be presented and the judge will make the final call as to whether or not the person is guilty or innocent...and will also decide what their punishment will be. (from temporary banning to a public stripping of all items up to a request for character deletion) "

Seem familiar to you people? icon_wink.gif
I dont know if Gesh had US in mind when he decided this... but WE sure seem fit to be this "law keeping guild"...

I've already sent him a PM with this question...

We have't decided exactally how this is gonna work...so we'll see what we come up with. Bear in mind that if someone is doing a bad job and enough players want to hold an election, we'll allow for that!

Politics AND an economy...pretty scary!"

So BASICALLY, what this means is that we need to WORK HARD...
People will need to see us as effective and fair law enforcers so that, in the future we have the chance to be appointed as an OFFICIAL entity.

It's up to us, people...

ooc: this is totally incredibly awesome! Economics... politics... both on Dyso! Oh hell yeah! I only hope people actually play their appropriate charisma, which is beyond impossible for Nei, because she'd have the personality of a demi-god. : ) I cannot wait for this, it's going to be incredible!
