Since druids can't equip an axe to chop down trees(This would be very counter druid anyway) Is it possible for druids to be able to just click a tree, and the tree spirt that resides within give the nice druid some firewood from its branches? icon_biggrin.gif

Orrrrr..you could just buy some. Druids don't harm trees, period. Tree spirits only live in ancient worthy trees, and since everything gets chopped., there are no trees like that.
Just by some, you need to make some scrifices for your class.

A Druid is one with nature. Every aspect of nature has a spirit that resides with in. Also, I'm pretty sure a tree spirit wouldn't mind ridding it self of a couple "dead" branches. Also, I'm not a cheap-scape. I can easily buy firewood, but its hard when you use your last one, in the middle of no-where. Where I'm surronded by several "chopping" trees, I don't care if they just gave one cord of firewood.

Maybe a simpler way to script it could be made where if a Druid "bashes" a tree (or maybe "uses" it), then there is a chance that they can collect 1 fire's worth of wood. The chance could be based on the Druid level of the character. And it should only be 1 fire's worth, since a true Druid would only take what they needed.

Hmm, or perhaps they should introduce scrap wood...that would be much more realistic, Druids collecting dead branched from the ground...  Reply with quote

That's frickin' creepy...you posted that at almost the EXACT SAME TIME I WAS THINKING IT!!! weirdlook.gif

weird...anyways...

Yah that's a good idea, but I think that would involve more coding, since it's a new object, and requires placement, etc....I don't know. Put it in the Rebirth area!

Well, I don't know about that....it would require a random chance of a tree dropping wood per minute, and a wood object would just appear..and that already exists!!
