Men's club?

You mean with strippers and discounted ale?

Or golf?

Erm, but I'd say a Paladin has some moral standards he'll live by... Oh well, they make no real Paladins anymore...  Reply with quote

And what if those moral standards are not against watching strippers and drinking ale?

I mean, in the olden days and in the fantasy realms, all there really is to drink that isn't poisoned is wine or ale.

Wenches, prostitutes, whores and strippers are all very common, the strippers just-so-happen to be at the paladin's favorite tavern.

With a little dodging and bending of morals, it is high-standard that the paladin is in a strip-club getting drunk.

Hmh, well, just watch the paladin go into the strip club. Maybe he's there to free the strippers into the wild urban life to be prostitutes instead?

There is some logical answer that i'm missing.

Yes, there is. Ofcourse a paladin can go into a strip club, why not. Being a paladin merely means that you fight for your god, and that you are basically a zealot, what goes on beyond that doesn't matter, as long as it doesn't conflict with your god's guidelines. Meaning that you may very well have a drunken paladin, as long as his god doesn't have anything against being drunk.

Actually, the majority of Paladins don't worship a god. they're just running around being all nice.

Also, there's the immunity to disease that would be VERY nice in a strip club icon_redface.gif

If there's going to be a men's club...I want a Chippendale Club for us girls, then.

Who volunteers for the g-string and bow tie?

I think this conversation took place once already.

The basic points broke down thusly --

The Dyso EULA pretty strictly forbids any sort of adult-content material being put into play/place by the developers.

Any "brothel" or "suggestive themes" type of stuff would have to be player started and pretty much player-run.

Any player-run brothel or similar establishment would have to operated more or less on the sly. In other words ... a lot of ingame promotion would not be allowed due to the EULA.

This was what basically came out of the last go-around with the issue. Insofar as Paladins at such a place ... it's a stretch at best and has little to do with being a zealot or not ... not all Paladins fall into the category of fundamentalist zealot. It would, however, fall more into the realms of what such places tend to attract and such ... i.e. the seedier element, crime, etc. Most paladins are not generally going to want to become associated with that sort of thing.
