I'm sure you're all aware that your treasurer hasn't been about and hasn't done alot for you, I'd like to ask for an assistant as I'm rarely about these days and don't wish to let anyone down.

If you would like to help with the treasury then apply here and I'll pick one of you, who I know I can trust with large sums of money.

If I don't pick you, don't think it's that I don't trust you, I'm simply trying to keep this guild running as smooth as possible, with money you can never be sure icon_eek.gif

Post:

In game name:
How long you've been with this guild:
How much time you spend on Dysotopia, per week (in hours):
Age:
and Why you think you would be suitable for the job:

Post these things then in a week I'll pop back in and pick a candidate.

Snares, you will have the biggest part in this seeing as you're the most trusted, and our leader. So any feedback from you is welcome icon_smile.gif

I would like to be an assistant treasurer, but I'm low level just now and have just recently come back to Dyso. I'm not posting right now to become an assistant, but I just wanted you to know that if noone else wants to be, I could be one after I level up some more.

Cara, level 6 (for now), have been with the guild since January 6th or 7th I think. Spend at least 20 hours a week in game (probably lots more)
Cara's age is 21 (my age is 20)

Alright, good intentions here Nemor, though there's a major problem. Right now with the new system, you lose xp and gold based on your level and a certain percentage of your total gold in your pockets. In other words, suppose you're carrying millions of gold with you and so happen to die from a fatal trip over a pebble, a hefty chunk of the guild funds will be gone to either the badgers or a "friendly passer-by".

An alternative I can recommend is giving your gems to the treasurer, but this would also put him at the mercy of rogues and people who simply can't keep their hands in their own pocket. Well, perhaps we can throw in more ideas here in this discussion, though whatever it is, I'm always happy to give our Initiates that little boost in their training. (That's out-of-character anyway, Kerb wasn't really known for being very nice).

That's part of my point about needing an assistant. If there is more than just one person carrying the goods, less is lost each time.

I'm well aware of the loss of gold and the risk of pickpockets icon_smile.gif

Im a good merchant. When I hit my big break and make millions I will send it all here. icon_mrgreen.gif Dont make any big bets or anything, at my speed it could be years.
I dont think I would make a good assistant. I die rather often, I even got myself a house in the land of Limbo. Then well... lets just say theres a lot of thieves out there that dont like me.

GIVE US HOUSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!

andd since Dyso is nbow completely persistant we don't have to worry about losing anything left in containers in the house!

Since it will be Selene's House the Druids can use it icon_smile.gif

Hey I just found out recently that those 2 houses in that Jeshen cave are quite cozy. If you have skills in opening locks you can go inside. Good for private meetings and such.

I still wish we had a grove though - not very fitting if druids lived in luxurious homes with carpeting and hot bath. But I suppose it'll work for a temporary storage space.

i'll be the cook! now whipping up that tradeskill to 50% teehee

right then, all fine and dandy, but what happens *if* you get to be grande druid and THEN we have to burn civilisation, the flooring we'd take weeks in-game to lay, and THEN the kitchen sink.

i shall lay first dibs on any male garden gnomes during the plundering!

Lol, I think this topic's reared right off course..

Still, I agree with Snares in that we should have a grove and not a luxurious bouth complete with tennis court, jacuzi and swimming pool.

Perhaps something in the way of a side of a cliff with an overhang for shade and shelter, lots of trees and a nice warm stream to lounge by with flowering bushes and green grass? Sounds like a really nice grove to socailize no?

icon_exclaim.gif Changed topic title to, "Guild Treasury".

I can't volunteer as a guild treasurer though since Kerb (being a Predator) is most likely to get into a lot of unneccessary trouble - which isn't a very good idea for him to keep valuables. The Guild Treasury is open to everyone for application, but I think the Healers would make suitable applicants.

Btw, Jase, to whom does the house you mentioned earlier belong to?

So far Celina is the best candidate, but she tends to go fighting tough enemies emot-yum.gif

So, I agree with Snares that a Healer would be best suited to the task..
Please keep posting if you can do the job.. I really don't wish to handle it all myself.
