... I suggest that it get's inspected.
As Sun Tzi wrote in another thread, the script that should prevent pp from dead players causes random deaths now and then. Either because it thinks putting items into monster corpses and taking them out again is stealing, and the other thing that happened to me today was that i pped a living player and got killed instantly for pping a dead char.

I've always disagreed with this script because it's not good roleplay, and that there are thousands of better ways to deal with it. If it's bugged, then all the more reason to get rid of it.

To clear corpses i put a torch in a corpse, then take it back so it disappears, i did it twice very fast and i died for pick pocketing a dead guy, this was meby a week ago.

It seems to pop up more commonly when dealing with rogues (either as the victim or as the looter). That said, I haven't heard much more about this in a while ... I know this was something Bri had on the list to figure out. The script itself was instituted by Gesh because Gesh found the process of PPing the dead to be lame and I have to agree with him. I'd be in favor of a system where the dead left a few random items behind that could be picked up ... but otherwise any sort of lootable corpse system or the PP the dead stuff tends to end up leading to excessive PKs.

Heres a wild idea, instead of not letting people respawn for 1-5 minutes, just don't let them leave heaven/limbo/hell for that amount of time instead.

Let them respawn whenever they want and scratch the script.

well it doesn't seem to do any good to report bugs much anyway, most are already known and it just takes time to fix, i am sure the creators have a long list IRL they make on to do fix... heh
