so im trying to make some npc's who walk alol arround my mod and i wanted them to go between areas. i tried putting one of the waypoints in a different area but they wont go to it... my friend said it worked for him but that they wont go to an area without players. now i cant test this since i cant host on the internet and i dont have 2 cd keys to use on my network. so if anyone knows the details please tell me

yeah but how do i have a player in the starting area and the area they go to at the same time? if i leave the first area then the guys will stop moving

I don't quite get walking waypoints between areas either. For example i have these flitter creatures who have a waypoint cycle in a far off area and they go to it straight when spawned in a different area, yet my relentless zombies aren't even crossing an area transition zone...
The flitters don't care a damn about players being in their endzone so to speak.
Not sure about the zombies but they use the same basic waypoint system.
You might want to look into the OnBlocked script though.
Although the standard script should just let them cross areas (int 8 or lower they bash the door, 9 or higher they attempt to open the door or something like that).
