Alright, I'll be gathering names and all. There should be an official list on the front page once it's done. I'll make a notification here. Just post me your character names and class! Thank you icon_biggrin.gif

Different timezones perhaps? The guild is currently recovering from its losses from the Apocalyptic Wipe. Been less active as a result though we're trying hard to rebuild everything. Selene Wolf is currently managing the Druid Shop at the Eleriina to raise funds for the Circle. You should be able to hear of the Circle more often once we've appointed the new leaders and mentors. icon_smile.gif

I'M SELENE WOLF. So if you see me in-game and have use for a Druid look me. Hey Snares you should post a list of current Druid members (their character's names) for everyone.

look. this FotF thing. This has been around in the Druid Circle for a LONG TIME. We are not just going to go:

Person: Hi can I join?
Druids: Sure
Person: Cool

we are Druids but not all of us are as trusting as Snares. The person WILL BE CHECKED on both OOC in the forums AND IC on the game. We are currently discussing a way to do this and I think i've come up with one. We will post it here when it has been decided. Until then I know of only 2 members: One who used to be a Druid and One I made a FotF. You aren't just automaticaly added.

I'm not saying it's a bad or inactive guild. I'm saying that I never hear from them in game. Nothing wrong with that.  Reply with quote

might be because of 3 reasons:

1) diffrent timezones

2) We are working "behind the scenes" (not all off us "like" cities)

3) We don't usually keep in contact with city-dwelers as much as with Druids (least I don't when i'm playing Selene)

5) You're not doing anything noticeable. Just because you are there doesn't mean you have to actually do stuff other than actagainst local things...And if Kindo didn't do anything to need speaking to, it's logical he doesn't notice you....

And also, Kindo isn't in the guild...right?

I didn't quite get that part ShadowCore. At any rate, I'm open to feedbacks and all. If Kindo thinks the guild isn't active enough, I'm not going to say if he's right or wrong. I'm just here as the guild caretaker and diplomat to make sure things go right for most of everyone - members and non-members alike, and look for opportunities and ways to improve the guild for the druids. We value your suggestions and constructive comments as the Druid Circle continues into Dysotopia's Third Era and beyond.

What I meant was that you don't need to show off and let people know you exist. I think it is good enough if you act as a guild when you see something happening you should act against, such as the merciless killing of animals. The fact that you ar there, doesn't mean you need to act on a grand political scale.

Please dont start spamming this board aswell, scroll up if you dont know who im talking about.

And about people who say the druids guild inactive, like Shadowcore said we can use the *amazing excuse* like Kuma has: that by not being there, shes actually roleplaying her char Not having an attack on Kuma, just drawing a parallel with the views of some people about the activity of the guild. (and if youre going to respond to parts of my post which are not to do with the druids guild, please make another topic... where ill be happy to rant with you)

Is this spam?
I was wondering, what if somemone says they are a druid(RP) and isint really? He then comes up with a reason why he cant do any druid things. What would happen? Would he be exocuted when the real druids found out?
Also, could someone sayyyy a monk that desided to be a druid join? Or do they really have to be the druid class?
Oh, and this is without multi-classing.

1) Trust me if I find a guy who's faking to be a Druid whether Snares likes him or not I'l kil him/her on the spot for impersonating a guardian of the Earth Mother

2) You MUST have the highest lvl of class be Druid to join the Druid Circle. End of story. Period.

3) You could be a FotF and be a lvl 8 Duid lvl 12 monk for example. You could even roleplay a Druid. But to be in the Circle you would need a lvl 11 Druid 9 ???? to be accepted and if you were gonna roleplay a lvl 12 monk 8 Druid you would have to abandon MOST monk ways but not all you (you could still use monk qualities but you couldn't roleplay joining a monastery)

4) No it's not spam

Ok, I said WITHOUT multiclassing. Im just asking IF there would be anyway to tell? He can always say his spells have been used and that he cant rest yet.
Dont worry, I dont know anyone that would try this. Full druids are better.

More so when Neverwinter Nights: SoU is released.

For those of you who are interested in the Friends of the Forest programme that the Druid Circle is introducing, I'll be revising our guild rules and information sometime soon so that everyone will be able to better understand the concepts and requirements. Till then, spread the love.

There are ways to tell, like before you play on the server, you can see who is online and what lvl of each class they are. Its not hard to figure out if someone is lying about being a druid. So If someone thinks they can pull it off, let them try, They will have all of us Druids to deal with. icon_twisted.gif

Who can possibly forget Rumanos? icon_lol.gif It's several previous pages back in this guild topic, see if you can spot the Rumanos! (It was a nice in-character attempt, though people fail to notice both Kerb and Snares' keen sense of smell...) Anyway, please don't try any stunts like that on the Druid Circle. We'll feed you to the badgers. I mean it. Really.

Easist way to know if someone is fakig being a Druid.

1) If he is lvl 5 AT LEAST tell him to rest and cast fire whip. If he can't too bad he's not a Druid

2) Casting non-druid spells such as Restoration, neg energy ray, darkness (darkness is a big one if he casts it he's not Druid less he uses scroll/is multi-classed)

3) Player list before entering Dysotopia

I'm not saying use the player list before you enter Dyso to prove he/she isn't(in game), but you can look and KNOW, THEN rp him/her into telling the truth or force it out. Its just a way of knowing before you attack the person and find out if he/she really is or isn't. You don't want to make a fool of yourself if they really are, but you don't want to be played for a fool if they are lying.

FRIENDS OF THE FOREST - An Update

This is to clarify the concepts of "Friends of the Forest" for the public sector. First and foremost, FotF is not an organisation or milita. However it is more correctly a title of recognition given to those few in Dysotopia, who truly respect Nature and do whatever they can in their power to help the local druids. Therefore, one is not able to simply "join" the Fotf.

Friends of the Forest gain their title through mutual respect and friendship in-game roleplaying. These Friends are not bound by any contract that they should serve the Circle and are not commanded by any higher authority. Generally druids of the Circle will see Friends of the Forests as one of their own and will return them favours through a variety of ways. This allegience will help both parties in their individual pursuits and better educate others about Nature and Her Ways.

(There will be a listing for Friends sometime if things work out right.)
