A couple things we should start:
1st: A base of operations
2nd: Guild Colours
3rd: Leadership chain of command

On the 1st issue, i recommand Gloth as our base of operations. Its the only place that provides a neutrual enviroment.

2nd issue, the colours would be a good way to identify ourselves , open to suggestions

3rd issue, we need to meet up in the server and begin selecting leaders and captains for the different regiments

As mercenaries, we allow ourselve to be hired out to individuals or sometimes other guilds...jobs from Assassinations, Guard Esort or helping them in wars.

We try to be neutral, coz we mainly work for the money
however, our guild has the ability to be self-suficient.
As that happens, we will begin to take control of certain areas like Cities and territory

hmm good idea there but you know some people tend to look differently to neutral people especially to those that are loyal to money icon_confused.gif . Anyway do we stay loyal to the first person that bought our contract or do we have the choice to betray them for a larger fee icon_twisted.gif

On being loyal, it will depend on yr part. If that person is not only yr client, bt maybe a friend, u may choose to be "loyal" to him. However, if that client of yours is nothing more than a client, u may discard any former loyalties

About the base of ops I think elerina will be more suitable due to a simple reason - most of the newbies come in there. They are more likely to require services then other people will unless of cos if they need help in wars assasinations and all. If they require that they can still find us at elerina since gloth is not accesible by everyone except high lvl chars

I think it would be better to make it a place where we can interact with people. So our services will be within reach and potential clients won't have to wander around trying to find us.

I like the idea of making an inn our base of operations. They are more or less near Rift Gates and will speed up travelling. If there are a couple of xivian at the Rift Gate in Gloth, it's gonna take a bit of time to kill them. Wasted time if we are tracking down someone.

I dont mind any of the ideas mentioned above. i'm game for it.

There is a slight problem of getting contacted by potential customers. Im suggesting that, there could be some sort of magical structure or button in one or more of the cities where by clicking on it, will deliver a message to all Tempest Steel merceneries (identified by the guild item) of something along the lines of "Mr X is waiting to hire some mercenaries at Erliina".

The person who uses the button would have to be said in the message otherwise people would just hit the button and run.. and waste our time. Thered need to be a warning message to, to let them know that if they abuse it... we'll abuse them....(ho ho ho)...

Anyway, what do you think??? (and is it possible to code such a thing, Ive seen items in other modules where you can contact an admin, so its something like that)

heh heh i like the idea too although Im not sure if gesh will code it since it sounds complex.

About the roughing part it will be pretty easy not only will he not enjoy further help from us but we will provide assitance to his enemies icon_wink.gif

though we will need to have things like 3 times and your out else those with itchy hands will try a few times with the thing not to mention the CE characters that will do it to piss us off

Im sure most of you are aware of entire kravenwood incident.
It seems its been taken back.

I dont know if bri used a super uber, invul char to take it over or there really was a real dm supported battle.

But this just goes to show the level of rp in the server. Paladins, lawfully good players helping to retake kravenwood, when its suppose to be a city of evil.

then the city has turned into another good city...
anyway I like druedly's idea of taking over of cities during weekends since most of the people are available then.

I remember a online game called lineage, they also have castles that can be taken over. The special part is there is a date for the next possible attack by others and when an organisation decided to attack them they need to declare their attacks beforehand.


I think it is a very good idea
