Right click the door/area transition trigger, then click properties, then the area transition tab. Finally, click "set up area transition", and choose your target door/area transition trigger. If a warning appears about the door not having a unique tag, then change the tag of the door to something that you'd be able to identify that door as. It's pretty straightforward when you compare it to scripting. Good luck with that.

if you are planning on making a PW world, dont do it yet, mess around in the toolset (thats how i learned), try to learn scripting (if you can its really good trust me!) and then once you know the toolset better than the back of your hand start making a serious mod. it will turn out better that way then if you start when you dont know what your doing.

I know how to work the toolset just fine, its custom scripts I can't do. So far my worlds coming on well, although it's not persistant and made by a noob worldbuilder, even I have to say it's looking good.

I'll get the world finished first then if I need some scripts I'll call on you Jase or anyone else willing to help.

One last thing, how do I make chairs and benches that allows people to sit on them?

put this on the OnUsed event:

Code:

void main()
{
    object oPC = GetLastUsedBy();
    object oChair = OBJECT_SELF;
    AssignCommand(oPC,ActionSit(oChair));
}

BTW: I highly recommend you learn to script by yourself

go to neverwinter night vault, strip whatever scripts you need from there. Look them over in the script editor, see if you find patterns.
It's partly how i learned the scripting i do so far..

Nemo the fantastic leather pants-wearing toad:

I have plenty of free time, and I'm messing around with scripting fun projects...
I can now do anything in the toolset (before I could just do String stuff)

but a reminder: give a man a fish, you feed him for a day
teach a man to fish: he probably doesn't have a fishing pole and starves to death, cold and alone...

I'm sure it goes something like that...

(in other words: I'll help you out)

I'd be happy for you to help me TP. Only thing is, I lost just over 100 areas I had fully created because my PC hard drive wouldn't recognize. I tried everything and took it to the professionals and no one could save my work, oh well.

So, I'm gonna get started on it again, get the basics done then I'll give ya a call.

Thanks.

not just that, send it to someone else for safekeeping as well...
A hundred areas would just make me stop bothering fixing it all again.
